Who can create KPIs?

Only organization admins or owners can create new KPIs.

This helps keep your KPI set focused, consistent, and trusted. KPIs are meant to be shared health metrics for the whole organization—not one-off or duplicate measures.

Once a KPI is created, admins can assign a KPI owner. The assigned owner (such as a team lead or manager) can then update the KPI over time.
