How do I connect a department OKR to an organization OKR?

You can connect OKRs directly from the Alignment Map in just a few clicks:

1. Open the Alignment Map
   
2. Find the Organization OKR card you want to align
   
3. Click the link icon on the bottom-right of the OKR card
   
4. Choose the Department OKR you want to connect to
   
5. Confirm the connection

Once connected, the OKRs will automatically appear aligned in the map, clearly showing how department work supports company goals.

Note: OKRs connect top down.

With the Alignment Map, you can connect:

• Quarterly OKRs to Annual OKRs
  
• Team OKRs directly to Organization OKRs
  
• Lower-level Key Results to higher-level Key Results
  
  

This gives you flexibility in how strategy and execution connect — without changing how progress is calculated.
